This time, I report on the fashion war staying up in Harajuku.
Many people stand in two lines waiting for opening of certain shops in Meiji-dori(street) area of Harajuku from early in the morning.
One line is connected with H&M of just the opening the other day. Exceeds 300 young people of a favorite fashion queue up aiming at the opening at 11 AM!! It is Just a fashion monster who came from Sweden.
Another line is connected with TOPMAN that just the renewal to counter the monster from Sweden. TOPMAN was created in the UK. TOPMAN is desperate so that it should not be crushed by H&M only about 50m away.
In facing of TOPMAN, there is a GAP from US. Furthermore, there is a UNIQLO that is a Japanese casual wear retailer. The fashion war of Harajuku seems to intensify.
One of the causes that the person gathers in such a general merchandising store is thought to be a recession. You will queue up in a high brand if business is good.
I think that popularity in an overseas shop goes up because it is appreciation of the yen recently.
